SecureLink's® concurrent license pricing is simple, fair and aligns our success with yours.
- Q: What is concurrent licensing and how does it work?
- A: A good analogy for concurrent licensing are dynamic phone lines. You can have as many phones, phone lines, people dialing and people to call as you like, you just pay for the maximum lines you use at one time. There are no limits on named users or anything else.
- Q: How many concurrent licenses will I need?
-
A: For a technology vendor customer, a good rule of thumb is half of a concurrent per technician on your largest shift.
So, if you have 8 technicians working at the same time, you'll probably need about four licenses.
For an enterprise customer, like a bank, hospital or government agency, a good rule of thumb is one concurrent connection for every 10 vendor companies you put on the system. So, you'll probably need 3 licenses if you put 30 vendors on SecureLink Enterprise. Note that this means 30 organizations, which may be hundreds of named users within those organizations.
Remember, you get unlimited use during the first year, so you'll be able to measure how much you'll need in year two and beyond.
- Q: How much does a concurrent license cost?
- A: The software subscription is $100 per month per license with a minimum of two. There are no hidden charges; the price includes software, support, upgrades and a dedicated account manager.
- Q: What are the benefits of concurrent licensing?
- A: There are two primary benefits to concurrent licensing. First, you only pay for what you use! With the first year unlimited license and our ongoing subscription model, you won't ever buy too many licenses or be punished for some artificial limit of named users. The second benefit of concurrent licensing is the alignment of your success with ours. If we don't deliver great products and back them up with great service, we don't get paid.
