After releasing the Authenticator App earlier this year, SecureLink is excited to announce the launch of our second mobile app, the SecureLink Enterprise Admin App. This mobile app was created with this question in mind: how can an enterprise administrator easily manage vendor requests when they are not at their desks? SecureLink’s Enterprise Admin App answers this question by allowing enterprise admins a way to manage requests while away from their desks.
SecureLink understood that working doesn’t always take place in front of a computer, at a desk, and at work. For many enterprises, they deal with dozens, if not hundreds, of vendors that need to request access to get on to an enterprise’s network. In the past, that meant going back to a computer, logging into SecureLink Enterprise Access, and seeing what was being requested. Long gone are the days of relying on a computer to manage vendors requests now that SecureLink has launched the mobile Enterprise Admin App. Enterprise admins are now able to manage requests while on-the-go.
Benefits of the SecureLink Enterprise Admin App
This mobile app gives SecureLink Enterprise customers the ability to easily manage vendor access requests directly from their mobile device. Specifically, vendor access, application access, and vendor account disabled requests can all be managed directly from this app.
- Vendor Access: To manage Access requests, select the request. From here, the access can be enabled, denied, or the account can be disabled. Within the app, an admin can either approve or reject the access of a specific vendor.
- Application Access: To manage Application requests, select the request. From here, the options to enable access and deny request to enable are available. An admin can approve or reject the access to a specific service or application.
- Vendor Account Disabled Requests: To manage Account Disabled requests, select the request. From here, the options to enable access and deny access are available. This step either approves or rejects the request to re-enable existing access for a vendor.
Within the app, an admin can also choose a specific window of time on a given date, or for a period of specific time for the access requested (e.g. access granted for one hour). If access or requests are denied by the admin, they are able to include context for exactly why access or a request was denied.
Easy and Secure
SecureLink’s Enterprise Admin App is the perfect combination of being easy to use while also being very secure. If the mobile app is being used on an unauthorized network, the user will not be able to sign in unless the settings and restrictions are changed on the SecureLink server. The app also enforces the use of multi-factor authentication for logging in (e.g. a password and fingerprint scan or PIN). We are excited to say that enterprise admins can now easily and securely enable or deny requests while away from their computers.
