We’re excited to announce we’ve been honored with two awards for 2021!
- Built In Austin ranked SecureLink as 21 in the Best Midsize Companies and 64 on the Overall Best 100 Places to Work.
- Glassdoor also honored SecureLink with an Employees’ Choice Award in the US in the small and medium company category, which highlights the Best Places to Work in 2021.
As we all know, Austin is filled with a ton of great places to work so to win two different awards is an absolute honor and validates our ongoing efforts to maintain our incredible culture.
The two awards are a bit different in how they select their list of winners, so let’s dive in a bit deeper.
Built In’s Best Places to Work list rates companies algorithmically based on variables categories such as health and wellness, flexible work environment, professional and social impact, compensation, and employer benefits.
For Glassdoor’s award, and unlike other awards, there is no self-nomination or application process, instead, it’s entirely based on the feedback our employees have voluntarily and anonymously shared on Glassdoor. To determine the winners of the awards, Glassdoor evaluates all company reviews shared by employees over the past year. This year, we are proud to be recognized as a Best Place to Work among U.S. companies with fewer than 1,000 employees.
SecureLink doesn’t just Have Fun Creating Value Over the Long Run (HFCV/LR) for our customers and shareholders, we Have Fun Creating Value in the lives and careers of our employees. We’ve worked really hard to create a workplace where people are excited to come in every day (or, for the case of 2020, empowered our employees to comfortably work from home). We have a team filled with amazing employees and we have some pretty big goals to achieve.

In fact, every Friday we celebrate those extra slinky employees with “wheel spin” – we highlight the employees who went above and beyond in their job with a spin of our “Price is Right” type wheel for a cash prize. And don’t worry, this tradition continues even with COVID– we do virtual wheel spins to ensure that the slinky employees are still highlighted!
We look for the kind of people you enjoy spending time with that, simply put, make work not feel like work. You know, the type of person you’d want to grab a beer (or glass of wine) with (over Zoom, these days…). After that glass of wine or pint of beer, we make sure they know that the number one goal is to change the world by offering the best vendor privileged access management platform in the game. SecureLink has been around since 2003 and our mission has been the same– have fun creating value over the long run. And that’s exactly what we do, and we couldn’t accomplish that goal without the amazing employees that we have.
