Position: VP of Product Management
Favorite SecureLink feature: How could I pick one! I love so many, but I’m probably most excited about all of our vendor management capabilities. No other solution is purpose-built to manage the specific challenges of vendor privileged access so those features are what makes SecureLink really unique and irreplaceable.
Favorite thing about working at SecureLink: The openness of the culture. I don’t think most people feel the need to check their true selves at the door when they come to work. The candidness and trust that comes with that create a really great team environment.
Favorite SecureLink core value: Tough choice, but would have to go with “Think Long Term”. The discipline to do the right thing long term for the business and our customers is not easy to do. It’s very refreshing when you see people sacrifice short term or personal gains in favor of our long term success.
How do you define success: Having fun by creating value over the long run! Duh. In all seriousness, that mantra really resonated with me when I started at SecureLink. I think every professional wants to achieve great outcomes, but life’s too short to be miserable doing it. At the end of the day, if you achieve great results for your business, your customers and yourself, and have a great time doing it, that seems pretty good!
What do you do when you’re not helping SecureLink and its customers: I spend most of my free time with my wife, Gina and our two kids, Isla & Oscar. My wife and I love to take advantage of all the amazing things Austin has to offer and sharing those with our kids – Barton Springs Pool, Town Lake, ACL Fest, BBQ, restaurants, breweries, live music – the list goes on. When I’m not with my family I enjoy a good happy hour with friends and colleagues, or a round of golf.
