Why VPNs are not the answer to third-party access
It’s widely accepted that VPNs are an essential, useful tool in the security toolbox of nearly every organization. However, VPNs aren’t the catch-all answer for granting remote access. VPNs certainly make sense for granting employees remote access to corporate resources, but vendors, third parties, and contractors are different from internal employees and the leverage you have over them will never be the same as an internal employee.
Download our webinar “Why VPNs aren’t the answer to third-party access” featuring Joel Burleson-Davis, Chief Technology Officer at SecureLink, as he addresses:
- Why enterprises aren’t managing their vendor rep employment status properly and how it can be streamlined.
- How to ensure vendor reps are who they say they are while highlighting the importance of employment verification and multi-factor authentication.
- How to get the information you need, like activity in your systems, and how it can be difficult (or impossible) if using the wrong software for remote access.
This webinar concludes with a demo of SecureLink’s Vendor Privileged Access Management (VPAM) technology.
